Welcome New Scouts!
Troop 193 welcomes the following 12 new scouts and their families that joined the troop between February & May: Brandon A., Matt A., Matt H., Carson J., Matthew K., Kentaro L., Sam L., Aman P., Antonio S., Jon T., Max W., Nick Z..  The Class of 2012 scouts have attended meetings and even outings as Boy Scouts and have gotten a good taste of many new skills and plenty of fun.  Let the adventure begin and continue as you start down the Boy Scout trail.

Troop 193’s 2012 OA Candidates
Congratulations to Life Scout Tom C. & Star scout Ryan F. for being elected as candidates for membership into the Order of the Arrow.  Besides being elected by their scouting peers, these two  scouts had to have achieved at minimum First Class rank or higher and 15 nights of Boy Scout camping within the past two years, which includes one long term camp of 5 or 6 nights (cabin camping is not counted).  All the best to Tom & Ryan during their upcoming Ordeal later this Summer or Fall.

New Senior Patrol Leader Elected
Congratulations to Dan G. on recently being elected Senior Patrol Leader (SPL)!   Senior Patrol Leader is the highest leadership position that a scout can attain, reporting to the Scoutmaster.   We look forward to Dan leading the troop for at least the next 6 months.  Runner up Ryan F. is Assistant Senior Patrol Leader (ASPL) & Dan selected Alex Y. as the troop's second ASPL.  We also extend our most sincere thanks to our outgoing SPL Ryan F. for his fine service & leadership that he brought to the troop during his past 8 month reign.

Troop’s New Scoutmaster
In April, Troop 193 welcomed New Scoutmaster John Barmen (Mr. B.) who has been an active Assistant Scoutmaster for the troop for the past two years, taking over taking over this role from former Scoutmaster Rick Sarver who has since transferred back as an Assistant Scoutmaster for the troop.
